Mason City, Iowa

Mason City was once a major railroad junction, with routes of the Milwaukee Road, Chicago Great Western, Rock Island, Minneapolis & St. Louis and Chicago & North Western in the town. Today, Union Pacific owns the remaining operational tracks from the C&NW, RI, CGW and M&StL, while Canadian Pacific (Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern) owns the Milwaukee Road track.
